The Sunday Stroll is a slower more chilled street-skate brought to you by the LFNS team. Each week features a different route across London’s streets over approximately 8-10 miles. The Sunday Stroll is ideal for the beginner street-skater who can safely maintain a reasonable speed, stop well and parallel turn.
The traffic is safely kept at bay by those fluorescent marshals and the music bike will add a certain aural ambience enhance to the visuals of London’s sights.
The skate congregates at the east end of Serpentine Road (Nearest Tube: Hyde Park Corner) and leaves at 2.00.
Can I join in?
Oh yes! Its absolutely FREE!
The Sunday Stroll is generally slow but still a challenge for an inexperienced skater and you need to be able to keep up, know how to stop well, perhaps downhill and be able to parallel turn around corners. If you are in any doubt, book a skating lesson to assess your ability and get you up to speed.
