I started skating in June 2003 with my partner Herve and our lovely friend Violet. We had such great fun learning that we became obsessed and skated almost every weekend and weekday evenings. You could and can still find us there in the depth of winter too. Three years on and this enthusiasm has hardly waned at all for me personally and I now find myself slaloming regularly in the park with others, people even ask me sometimes how to do things, yes me!  However, I still have a long way to go and want to get better and better at it.
I can honestly say I am at my happiest when I am skating, it lifts moods and replaces them with something fresher and more exciting, nothing else can consistently do that for me.  There is nothing quite like the feeling of listening to great music and skating around in such a scenic spot alongside the Serpentine with other like minded souls. I would highly recommend it to anyone along with Lee and his Skatescool team, as he’s a bit ok too.
