I started skating when I was little but only got into it properly since moving to London. For me there are not many better ways to spend sunny days in London, so I usually head to Hyde park in the morning and find myself spending all day there. In the summer, the atmosphere is fantastic - you skate along the serpentine, hang out with your friends and finish the days off with a picnic /drinks. Like John, I’m happiest when on skates, with my favourite music playing - it’s my way of switching off, getting fit while also socialising with great people. At one point I think I was quite addicted to skating - it’s so easy to get fit without actually putting too much effort into it. Beats the gym or any other exercise - anytime!
I met some fantastic people while skating - Lee being one of them - would definitely recommend him as an instructor
